- SZABIST Mobile Development Conference (SMDC) 2011, the first of its kind, will be held by ACM SZABIST Student Chapter in order to introduce the audience to Mobile Development for business and gaming applications. The operating systems that will be discussed are Apple (iOS), Google (Android) and Windows (Windows Phone 7).
- SMDC is a one-of-a-kind event that promises a lot of learning to all those who will attend. Two hour sessions will ensure that each operating system is given its due and, with well-placed refreshment breaks in the middle, the attendees will not find the conference monotonous.
- About ACM SZABIST Chapter
- ACM (Association of Computing Machinery) is the largest educational and scientific society in the world, working to deliver resources that advance computing as a science and a profession. Since its founding in 1947, ACM has come a long way, with a staggering number of over 92,000 members. It has three kinds of chapters; Special Interest Groups, Professional Chapters, and Student Chapters. There are over five hundred student chapters all over the world, and, as luck would have it, the ACM SZABIST Student Chapter in Karachi is one of them.
